HR AARAMBH PROGRAM
The Aarambh program was launched in 2008, with a vision to create a strong Middle Level Management Pool in HR. It is the brain child of the farsighted HR Leadership team & the CHRO. The “Aarambh” program at Mphasis revolves around the 3 As – Attitude, Awareness and Authenticity. During the program, mentees are exposed to different teams and projects so that at the end of the program they are knowledgeable and understand the complete HR function. It also facilitates behavioural traits like adaptability, accountability and collaboration.
As a part of the Aarambh pool, scheduled knowledge sharing sessions are organized to provide a platform for sharing key experiences. The mentees also receive ample opportunities to connect with mentors within the organization to get effective career guidance.
THE FUTURE LEADERS PROGRAM (FLP)
The Future Leaders Program (FLP) was launched in 2011 with a vision to create a strong senior level management pool for the organization. The program focuses on the best and brightest, capable of taking up leadership roles across the globe. FLP aims at providing exposure and training to future leaders across the different facets of business (Marketing, Corporate Support, Delivery and Strategy) and getting first-hand experience across geographies on various business processes with an opportunity to contribute to the top and bottom line of the organization.
This program is designed in a manner that enables the participant to gain experience working with different verticals across the organization on a rotational basis. Each participant undergoes 3 rotations of a period of 8 months each. This would help the participants in carrying out multiple roles across different functions and also help them analyse and assimilate the complexities prevailing in the organization. Since its inception, 6 batches of FLPs year on year have been inducted.
As part of the FLP pool, participants are exposed to various learning programs to keep them updated with current trends. Scheduled knowledge sharing sessions are organized to provide a platform for sharing key experiences. Additionally, the connect sessions with senior leaders gives the FLP participants an opportunity to get guidance on their career progression. The program also has a very active mentorship framework where the FLP participants are aligned with senior leaders in the organization in order to get effective career guidance.
